Hey everyone, I have a question regarding sending LOR to medical schools. I know that many medical schools have different requirements in terms of their LOR (some ask for non-science, others require one within your major, etc.), so could I individually choose which LOR to send a specific school from AMCAS, or does AMCAS send all the LOR I have uploaded to each school? Or do you send LOR during your secondaries? Just confused on how the app cycle works. Also, I do not have any LOR for a non-science class, how big of an issue will this be? I've read somewhere that you can email admissions to get that waived, is that true? If not, could I send one at the end of November to solve this issue or is that too late, or would you recommend that I drop one of my courses for spring quarter and replace it with a non-science course? Thanks guys

1) You upload LORs to AMCAS and then assign which ones need to be sent to each school one by one
2) LORs don't need to be sent until after your secondary is completed, and AMCAS transmits them quickly once they uploaded and you assign them to school. You can submit AMCAS for verification without them being assigned to schools and then assign them after your secondary is submitted
3) LOR requirements vary per school. You will need to look at each school's requirements for nonscience LORs

So basically just ask any professor I’ve had a decent relationship with for a LOR?
