My AMCAS was processed today and I feel like crap. There's often a debate whether repeated courses count as completely separate grades or are they averaged and count as one class only. Unfortunately, it's the former. My BCMP was brought down from 3.75 to 3.55 because of one F in a summer math class, which I retook with an A-. And my overall gpa dropped from 3.55 to 3.49. I know that this is not the worst situation in the world and I expected the averages to be lower but I this is still depressing 🙁 , I hoped that I'd have at least 3.50. Will med schools see/care that only one grade really messed up my GPA? I'm currently applying and now I don't feel like doing secondaries. Thanks for any input.
