Hello everyone. I just finished making my school list using MSAR. I am willing to apply to as many schools as needed/recommended (was told by my school advisor to try and apply to 50 at minimum).
I highly suggest to stop listening to this advisor. Applying to 50 schools or more even for a California resident entails adding unrealistic reach schools or schools that take few OOS students without ties. You have many of these on your list, including UConn, Nebraska, Hawaii, Minnesota and others. Only IE residents or those who attend undergrad there should apply to UC Riverside.

Apply to the following:

UCI
UCSD
UCD
CUSM
Kaiser
Colorado
Dartmouth
NYMC
Albany
Hofstra
Einstein
Rochester
Drexel
Temple
Jefferson
Tufts
Hackensack
Vermont
Quinnipiac
George Washington
Rosalind Franklin
MCW
Ohio State
Cincinnati
Western Michigan
Creighton
Saint Louis
VCU
EVMS
Wake
Miami
Nova MD

Even if you have an endless source of income, 50 schools is way too many. Do you have the time to fill out 50 secondary applications?
I could sacrifice some things to make time, but I would definitely burn out at some point like Goro said. I'm very happy to have been saved from making such a big mistake :)
