Does AMCAS distribute our transcripts to the medical schools after receiving? Or do we also have to send a copy of our transcripts to each medical school?

Does AMCAS distribute our transcripts to the medical schools after receiving? Or do we also have to send a copy of our transcripts to each medical school?

AMCAS uses your official transcripts to confirm that you entered your course information and grades correctly into the Primary application. They do not distribute your official transcript to the med schools. The only school that would see the official one(s) would be that at which you eventually plan to matriculate. You will need to submit another copy directly to that school toward the end of the application cycle.
