When does AMCAS make the application for a fall 2007 entrance available? Also, are there any specific questions associated with the personal statement, or is it just an essay where you describe yourself and why you want to become a doctor.

It should be available sometime around May. Will open June 1. The PS is the latter.

I think it's available in May; you can send it out on June 1, 2006.
The personal statement is the same. Get a fake email address from gmail and set up a fake AMCAS account and you'll be able to see everything now.
Your fake name should be "Clovis H. Roosevelt McGuthrie IV, Esq."

I think Esq and IV are mutually exclusive - someone told me that esquire means "the first of this name", but that could be wrong. Either way, tres classy.

this poor person is going to be an ocd mess by this time next year if he/she is already asking about the 2007 AMCAS while several 2006 applicants don't even have interviews yet....
