Hello, I'm an American citizen who graduated from an American medical school, and I'm now doing psychiatry residency in the U.S. as well. After I finish training I am curious about permanently moving to New Zealand because of its low crime, clean air, and to escape my many personal daemons (lol half joke on the last one).
What kind of process is it to become a licensed New Zealand physician if you finished training in the U.S.? Do you have to repeat residency? Thanks, any information would be appreciated.
