Does anyone know anything about the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine (St. Maarten)? Have you ever applied there?

I actually got in there with no interview. I sent them the application, my transcripts, MCAT scores, and recommendations and was accepted in about six weeks. They start three classes per year. I think I applied for the third session which would be starting soon if not already. I ultimately decided not to go because I got acceptances at what I felt were more well-known and well-respected med schools in the US. Something just didn't feel right about AUC. It seemed like they were trying too hard. Their acceptance letter was kinda cheesy with a big gold seal on it and the fact that they didn't even give me a phone interview worried me. But that's just me. I'm sure there are many happy students there who are receiving a quality medical education. In case you don't have it, their website is http://www.aucmed.edu/
