Does anyone have any information on the premedical post-bacc certificate program at American University?

I'm currently in the AU postbac program, taking organic chemistry over the summer. So far it's been a real breath of fresh air. Compared to the equivalent classes at my former undergraduate institution, I find the classes here to be significantly easier. There are negatives to be sure but the fact that I am receiving As in organic chemistry outweighs everything. PM me if you're still interested in the program.

Hi Doctopus,

I'm planning to apply to AU for post bacc. Im an undergrad at UPenn. I've been trying to contact the post bacc program for more info but I still haven't received a response. The program seems wonderful (and I love that its in DC), especially coming from Penn where pre-med courses are ridiculousy difficult -- more than they should be. Would you tell me more about how you like the program? Would I be able to complete it in a calendar year without science pre-reqs or should I take one or two?
