I was accepted to the American program, but I'm going to the Georgetown program which is very similar in cost. Both programs are very expensive, and probably have approximately the same medical school matriculation rate (Georgetown might be slightly higher, but they don't publish a rate). I went to American University for undergrad and wanted a change so Georgetown is right for me.

Any private post-bac you choose to go to will cost you an arm and a leg. I scare myself everyday when I think about the amount I will be in debt after I hopefully make it through medical school.

Thx...I have no pre reqs so GT is out of the question for me. Umass Boston is my other most likely candidate being cheaper, but AU's program seems well structured, organized, interested, and leaving the northeast also seems fun...

thx for your input

I have never taken pre-reqs either. I am not talking about the SMP, I was accepted to Georgetown's Post-Bac Pre-Med program.
