Im an AMG physician that would be applying for this upcoming match, hopefully Internal Medicine. I graduated in 2005. My question is, through whom do we work out the application, LOR, transcript etc. My school of medicine where I graduated? I know IMG work through the ECMG.

Do we need a Deans letter?

Thank you in advance.

I would imagine that the application is through ERAS, transcript through your school, and LOR from doctors that have worked with you in a clinical setting. AMG= american medical grad, right? I would think your school would have all this info. Your dean's letter will be from your school as well. If it is an american school, shouldn't be a problem. Am I missing something obvious here?

Yes, you need to contact the Dean's office at your medical school. Your school sends you the ERAS token and coordinates teh LORs, Dean's letter, transcripts, etc. You apply just as if you were a US senior. I took a couple of years off, too, and that is what I had to do.
