Amphetamine/Focalin Tolerance?

I have been prescribed Focalin for ADHD for a few years which at first had significantly helped improve my symptoms until recently where I have been noticing that I get less and less of an effect and have been developing a tolerance- despite my doctor continually increasing my dosage to 30 mg/day.

I really do not want to go any higher with the dosage seeing as it is already above the approved FDA's limit, but the pharmacists in my area did not have any other solutions to offer and so I'm somewhat at a loss where to go from here?

Unfortunately this would fall under the realm of medical advice. I'd suggest seeing a specialist in this area rather than using the Pharmacy forum to get suggestions.
