I heard today!! Got the interview at Wash U!! Anyone else get the letter?

Just out of curiosity, when were you guys complete?

Actually, the funniest thing happened to me with my application. I had submitted everything by end of August, but for the longest time (until start of October) my status page said that they hadn't received my recommendations. By mid-Oct, I thought I had given them enough time for mail delays, so called them up. Eventually, I had to have my premedical committee fax and re-send my LORs and I thought that's it - because of this 2 month delay I have messed up any chance I had at Wash U. But what do you know, within 10 days they sent me an invitation to interview! I guess losing my LORs and me calling them frantically must have drawn attention to my file!! I wish every school I applied to had lost my LORs!!

They lost my LOR's too! However, I didn't hear quite as quickly. It still took a month after I faxed my LOR's to them. I am scheduled for Dec. 12. When are you scheduled for?

they wont respond to my e-mail about when to schedule it. I put 11/24 as my second choice date, so I sent an e-mail so they would get it very soon.

But, in any case, I got the interview! don't know what date, but I got the interview at my top choice school in the world.

File, except for rec letters was complete in july/early august.
Rec letter in during early october.

I'm probably going to get nervous about the interview, thus mess it up. That's what happened at pritzker, i think. That's because I CARE to go to WashU or pritzker. For schools I didn't really care to attend, the interview went excellent, because I was so relaxed. Well, also, it was my first interview, so I over prepared.

But, I'm interviewing there, despite my 32 MCATS!

I am scheduled for Dec 8th. Yeah I'm pretty nervous about this interview, but reading the interview feedback I feel I shouldn't be! Let's see...*fingers crossed*..

Does WashU only use snail mail for interview invites? Anything on the status site?

Nopes, just snail mail...

i can't go december 8th. I have so many intervies the first two weeks of december, it's crazy. I'll be flying all over the country. especially the second week of december.

I really want to go 12/2, beca use 12/1 I'm at Saint Louis U. interviewing. I have a feeling they lost my e-mail or something.

Me too, Sonya, I got so many friggin' interviews I just don't know what to do with them!
