people who are applying for cycle 2009 are what year in college? If you will be a senior this coming year and you have already filled out the application, then what about your GPA?? You still 3 more quarters to go after this summer? Your GPA won't be verify until next year, so do the dental school actually interview you without having your GPA verified? Or should you just wait until you finish your senior year and then apply in the next summer instead?? If you apply after your senior year, then you will have a year off before actually attending dental school?? Sorry for being asking so many questions. I am really new about the dental program, so please be nice and help me out here. I really appreciate your helps. Thank you.

Hi, you apply after your Junior year typically. Some choose not to because they want to increase their GPA with their senior year grades. As for your questions: 1) the dental schools only look at what you've completed so far - i.e. they don't care about your senior year GPA unless you are a borderline case and they specifically ask to see your next semester's/quarter's grades. I'm not sure what you mean by verified (complete maybe?), but your school should offer an official transcript showing your GPA through your first three years. 2) yes, if you wait till after your senior year is done you will have to wait a year to attend school. Cycle of 2009 means that they will start in fall 09 (next fall).
