That's my professor Dr Drummond! He's a brilliant teacher, like many in the Department of Anaesthesia. The OR bits were filmed at our main teaching hospital, the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh (RIE) - check out the scrubs.
I'm an MS3 (first of three clinical years) with an interest in anesthesiology. Hoping to start my residency in the US in 2013. Just reading some of the posts here has been so helpful in answering a lot of the questions I have had about the practice of anesthesia, residency and the future development of the field.
