I am just curious how you guys would say my EC's are. I know it's not about quantity, but quality...so I was wondering if you would be willing to give some advice, let me know where I stand etc etc...thanks!

*Work Experience*
3 years medical receptionist, 1 year for low-income clinic
1 year medical assistant for low income clinic
2 years phlebotomist at rural hospital (present)

*Volunteer Experience*
Helped start and run a low-income clinic (1 year)
Volunteer med. assistant for free clinic in a rural underserved area (3 mos-present)
Volunteer spanish-english medical interpreter (2 years - present, various places)
--planning a medical mission trip to Kenya in March

*Research/Academic*
Research assistant in natural products chemistry (1 year - present, publication pending)
Organic chemistry "supplemental" instruction leader (basically a large scale tutoring class)
--Applying for science honors
 
You have leadership, clinical experience, community service,and research (with a pub). You also have teaching and are fluent in Spanish. You didn't specifically mention physician shadowing, but that shouldn't be hard for you to arrange. I'd say your activities as mentioned are very strong. If you have some hobbies, don't forget to mention them.
