Hi everyone. I am new to this site. I am not on a student visa. My green card is being processed. I took my NBDE Part I on June 5, 2005. I got a score of 86. I wanted to know if this score is good enough to get into a DDS program or do I have to retake it. I would greatly appreciate your opinions on this matter. Which colleges do you think I have a better chance of getting into?

Hi sakthi,
I think u shuld consider retaking part 1.Becos now the competition is more than before and ppl r scoring 89 and above.Even if u write part 2..and get a good score, many schools emphasize on a good part 1 score..
I know someone who got 79 and got into NYU..but that was 5 yrs ago!
Jus my 2 cents on it!

well this year people with 86 are on the waitlist in NYU.. with the competition increasing every year 86 may not get u admission .
sorry for being frank.
u can apply to colleges on the west coast where even the pre clinical exam is important.
u can apply to upenn.. but upenn criteria for selection is weird.
