Anaphylaxis treatment

So i was doing usmleworld CK question #3400 and it talked about a bee sting and what the treatment was. I put SubQ epi, but the answer was IM epi. In conrad fisher MTB step 3, he says the treatment to analphylaxis is SubQ epi. Please explain why this is wrong

I dunno whether the question mentions the site of injection, but:

We recommend intramuscular injection of epinephrine into the thigh as the preferred route and site of injection of this life-saving medication in the initial treatment of anaphylaxis.

Thus the issue per se is not intramuscular versus subcutaneous injections, but intramuscular injection in the thigh versus intramuscular injection in the deltoid muscle and subcutaneous injection in the arm.

epipens are intramuscular, not sure why he said subq though
