please i need good explanation for answering qestions regarding occlusion during lateral movements of the mandible . :( I never get them right .

q-when an adult with normal occlusion moves the mandible from right lateral relation to maximum intercuspation ,which cusp moves between the facial cusps of maxillary right second molar?
this q -- 146 ( 1994)

hey..i believe the answer is choice d i.e E.

ok..permanent maxillary second premolars replace primary maxillary second molars.so if you follow the palmar notation for primary teeth then the primary maxillary left 2nd molar is aasigned by E.but if u follow the universal numbering system then primary second left molar is noted by letter J.

universal numbering system:

for primary dentition:

(maxillary right) (maxillary left)

r u taking ur exams soon.....mine is in two weeks.......i'm in panic mode right now!!!!!!but I have a few doubts with questions which I will post soon.....
