I am currently taking Human Anatomy through my major right now and am required to take Physiology next semester for it as well.

However, I have heard recently that some dental schools apparently required a combined Human Anatomy and Physiology course.

Does anyone know if dental schools require the combined course and if so what ones? Any suggestions?

Interesting.. Never heard of any schools that require A&P. Hopefully, there aren't many of those.

My school has the combined A and P class. It's the same number of units as the individual a and p classes. However, I opted for the separate a and p classes and took them together a few semesters ago. Advisor suggests taking then separately rsther than the combined class

I don't see the logic on why that would be preferred. You cover more material if the class was separated.
