so i'm currently taking ap 1 right now, but it's not even required as a pre-req for my top school. i originally enrolled because i thought it would look better on my application, and that it would be an easy A to boost my gpa. but boy, was i wrong. i underestimated the amount of memorization needed, and am currently barely getting a C in the class.

the withdraw deadline is coming up, and i'm wondering if it would be better to take a W in the class and not have it hurt my gpa, or stick with it and try to get a C in it. like i said, i don't technically *need* the class for my pharm school, and i'm wondering if i would be better off withdrawing and concentrating on doing well in the ochem 1 class i'm currently in too, which i DO need and am barely hanging on there too. help?

The real question is why you would think that Anatomy and Physiology would be easy!

Good question.. I guess getting a C in A/P would be kinda easy - but if you want an A in that class, you gotta work for it.

I hope you get into your top choice but you have to think realistically...what I mean about that is you're not the only one thats going to apply to your top choice so you have to take more classes so that you can apply to more schools to be on the safe side. Dont put your eggs in one basket or you might hurt yourself.

I just got accepted into pharm school for next year program and these are things I learned along the way. Pharmacy is VERY competitive and a lot are going into the field my friend did what you did only took classes for his school of choice and after the interview he found out he was waitlisted (happens more than you think).
GoodLuck to you!!!
