Just out of curiosity.... Most pharm schools require these two courses... .Yet there is a pretty good number of schools without these requirements.

Could someone explain why this is?

Some schools have it built into their pharmacy school curriculum, and thus don't expect you to take it as a prerequisite. Others don't.
