Anatomy Course?

Sounds preposterous. If you want to take a course/learn something new, then go for it.

One of the more stupid things I've heard. It can only help you.

I have never heard of it being frowned upon. I would say go for it! I took one my freshman year of college. Only wish I would have taken it later so I would have remembered more by the time med school anatomy came around 🙂

MCAT tests physiology in bs section, so an A&P course will only help you

I plan to take a human anatomy course with lab next semester at my Univ. While it is required for my schools medical college, I realize it's not for most others. While I do want to take the course, I've been told that most Medical Schools frown upon prospective applicants taking a Anatomy course in under-grad. With a reasoning along the lines of "they want to teach Anatomy their way." Is this true at all?

Nobody will care. It's not like the anatomy is different depending on where you learn it.
