Hi guys,

So I know this goes against everything that people say to do prior to the start of medical school... but having graduated already and spending the next year not doing anything exciting, I've decided to ignore this advice and found really cool gross anatomy dissection videos!! (Yes, I actually enjoy watching these.) This will be a great addition to my late-night madness. 😎

I just viewed one of the superficial back videos, and I suddenly have the urge for a grilled chicken sandwich. I have yet to conclude what this says about me...

Nice! Thanks for the link!

The University of Michigan has great practice quizzes too, although they are easier then you're going to get hit with in exams. If you want to be a super gunner you can study up and try those out. But I'd recommend spending your time doing something fun, take a trip, spend your time with friends and family, etc. You are going to get so much anatomy shoved down your throat in a few months that you'll be waking up in cold sweats screaming origin, insertion, action and innervation of the various pelvic floor muscles at the top of your lungs. Relax! It's just a dream!! Oh wait no, it's med school! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! THERE'S NO ESCAPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

j/k

Do what you want in regards to studying.

Stay in undergrad as looooong as you caaaaan, for the love of Goood! Hahah, but really you will be kicking yourself once you can't wait to do anything besides study.

Those videos cannot convey the smell that will stick to your pores. Not a good idea to go to a restaurant after gross lab. Otherwise it's a great learning experience and an incomparable rite of passage.
