the principal fibers of dental pulp are sympathetic and afferent fibers[dental decks-anatomy].I understood the afferent part..can anyone plz explain me the sympathetic part.
 
sympathetic nerves innervate the blood vessels in the pulp and can cause vasoconstriction via adrenergic receptors (alpha 1).
