Anyone know of any good Gross dissection downloadable MPEGS? I tried to get to the link of Wisc. med where I heard they had some, but the link was dead. The U of Mich. website has good questions for the written anatomy exams but I would like some practical videos. Thanks

Still no suggestions for sites with easy downloads, but in general any file you can watch from the internet, you can sane to disk.

usually your have to figure out the file url -which you can do from quicktime movie info ( from the quicktime menu.) Then use a downloader program, such as Hidownloder.

None are real user friendly, but they work. For example the wisc.edu files are named : http://www.anatomy.wisc.edu/courses/gross/Dissection02.mov (01-27 or so). You then tell the program to download and save each file.

this is probably frowned upon, but if you would have watched it twice thru the web, and now only download it once -you are saving them bandwidth! 🙂

still no help-but if you want videos you should pitch in and buy Aclands DVD atlas-they are very helpful. I tried them after reading about them here - they almost makeup for time wasted on SDN! (and thats a lot of time)
