Hey guys, maybe this question has already been asked but i can only find app games in Anatomy so i will rather ask.

So i am going to have some friends over this friday and soon we have dissection week (with all organs, nerves, arteries, muscles etc) and not long until exam.
I was thinking about making some flashcards, but I would love to have some really fun Anatomy games and where you can also learn a lot.

Maybe have some posters without names where you have to say the names, and then say what is posterior and anterior, and relations to the skeleton!

Does anyone have any tips for what they did while studying anatomy, fun games etc? Please no apps, this i can find by myself online 😉

I've always found a bottle of liquor and a deck of cards is all that's needed to start private anatomy games with friends.

So i would really appreciate serious answers, as this would be both fun and learning before a serious anatomy week. But thanks for being funny and all..

I don't really have any serious answer for you. Anatomy sucks plain and simple.

Want a good fun idea for a game?

Here's what I do.

Write out all the muscles, innervation, origin, and insertions and actions, 100 times on paper over and over and over and OVER AND OVER AND OVERRRR AGAIN.

Draw the brachial plexus out twice as many times until you can recite it by memory.

Reenact lesions and defects that could occur due to trauma or whatever.

When you do all of this, take a shot of Crown, bust out 25 pushups and 25 body squats, and scream "yahtzee!" at the top of your lungs.

There's my Friday night.

Take your clothes off and label structures on each others body.

But yeah anatomy sucks.

I'm going to go ahead and assume you're a third chancer if you are inviting classmates over for this ****.

You know third chancer, wasn't cool in high school, wasn't cool in college...

I have no idea what third chancer is, all i know is that you all act cool and this forum is ****. There is no serious answer what so ever, and yeah I'm inviting over some friends because its more fun to do something together then study all night. Have fun being a jerk

For neuro/nerves and to a degree muscles, might be fun for one person to reenact lesions and the others to try and name the damaged structure.

You can also do mnemonic-matching. Everyone comes up with and writes down a mnemonic for something. Someone reads off the mnemonics then the person on their left guesses who came up with one. If they get it right, they get a point and try to guess who wrote another, repeating until they get everything or get it wrong. If they get it wrong, the person on *their* left tries. This goes on until everyone has gotten one wrong or every mnemomic has been succesfuly matched, then everyone rights a new mnemonic and the person on the previous reader's left is the new reader. Mnemonics are only read once, you have to remember it to guess who wrote it. Once someone has gotten a point for guessing a mnemonic no further points are awarded for that mnemonic. If you guess your own then you don't get any points and presumably the next person will "guess" who wrote it for a free point.
