Hello,

Ive been searching around the net for mnemonics and found some interesting ones, however, Im sure there are more mnemonics than on the web.

So for those who know, share your knowledge with us!!!!

I'll start:

Dr Cuma

Drop (wrist), Radial n, Claw-hand, Ulnar n., Median n, Ape Hand

(This is for what will happen if there is a lesion to the particular nerve)

Boston College Sucks - brachiocephalic, (left) common carotid, subclavian

branches off the arch of the aorta

there's also
-"C 3, 4, 5 / Keeps the diaphragm alive" (spinal cord levels that contribute to the phrenic nerve)
-structures in the cubital fossa from lateral to medial: TAN - tendon, artery, nerve (biceps tendon, brachial artery, median nerve)
-VAN - vein, artery, nerve - applies to subcostal groove as well as carotid sheath
-SALT - serratus anterior, long thoracic n.; serratus anterior, lateral thoracic a.
-SITS - rotator cuff muscles (Supraspinatus, Infraspinatus, Teres minor, Subscapularis)

I remember structures passing through the diaphragm with AVEAN: Aorta, Vena cava inferior, Esophagus, Azygos vein, Nerves.

Inferior Vena Cava enters the diaphgram at T 8, Esophagus at T 10, and Aorta at T 12.
