We always talk about overkill when studying, but what about underkill when studying? I'm currently studying for the step 1 and I decided to use Kaplan anatomy for studying Anatomy. It's a good book but I'm wondering if I'm overdoing it? Especially since I've read on this forum that anatomy isn't worth more than 1 day of studying. I'm thinking of just reading the summaries in Kaplan Anatomy and using first aid. Is that good enough or am I shortchanging myself?

The best resource for anatomy I believe are coupling USMLE Road Map Gross Anatomy along with question banks (UWorld and USMLERx suffice). The clinical associations in USMLE Road Map Gross Anatomy are very very high yield and worth going over.

Im currently using high yield anatomy. I think this has a lot of useful info and is more condensed than road...Im thinking of getting through FA, FC, and High Yield and if I learn it well buy the road series....since its a bit more intensive.
