I like anatomy - it amazes me to see how stuff works and reminds me it's no wonder we take all movement for granted! However - the tests and I are having a love/hate relationship in that I love to hate them. No matter how I study and how many hours I put into it I still can't hit my "I hope I hit it" grade. I'm passing though, which is all that really matters in the end. 🙂

i dig anatomy... the cadaver dissection is awesome!! i'm a visual learner so actually seeing the relationships between the structures and observing functions is cool. we haven't really had a test yet... here at KCOM, we have the AFFOM (anatomical and functional foundations of osteopathic medicine) consortium. basically, our OMM class, DO class (how to be a doctor) and gross anatomy are part of the same class. so we have major, clinical based exams in that, but haven't had the first yet... i'm pretty terrified. have to get working on the correlations!!!

Anyone who 'loves' cadaver anatomy is a tool.
Anatomy tortured me from Aug till Jan...and I REJOICED when it ended....It was hell like I never endured...and as 3rd year...I look back and SHUTTER when I think of those days of MSI.....I would do neuro 2x over before I would ever look at a brachial plexus or better yet....head and neck dissection!!
