HY Anatomy and First Aid. I got an 80 on it, raw score (prolly a 67) lol. but hey if i can do it, u can do it. I wish i payed more attention to the embro section of First Aid (thats pretty high yield). remember fetal blood is made in the yolk sac (Did i even say this right??). I missed that one cuz i didnt pay attention to First Aid.

Likewise, I used only FA and HY and I made an 83....by the way, you have to know some neuro too

The anatomy shelf is very straight forward and not that difficult. It was only worth 5% of my grade so I didn't study for it as it couldn't change my grade and I got a 77. Most of the questions I didn't know I could have known by spending a few hours reviewing the brachial plexus, forearm muscles and head and neck.

would you say that forearm and head and neck are more high yeild topics?
also....when you guys mentioned your scores...are those after your school scaled them?

the exam is worth 25% for me so I'm worried as hell!

the shelf was mostly focused on the abdomen, lower limb sections - everyone hyped up the brachial plexus and i only saw about 2 questions regarding it (out of the 150). aside from that, head/neck/thorax would be the next high yield info - back and arm werent that heavy on this test. Embryo is definitely something you should read - pickup that High Yield book and read it quickly - 25 questions at least are from that

UCV is a good one to read after you're done reading everything else. It helped me integrate all the tidbits from other sources and get used to the vignette format.

look at what abdominal aorta supplies. ( celiac trunk)

I used only HY and did fine.

Dont stress out about the test. You will have many more of these over the course of med school.
