Any last minute advice on the anatomy shelf would be really appreciated... Was there a lot of path? How helpful is the BRS / what did you use to prepare? What topics was it heavy on...

Use High Yield AND the High Yield section in Pre-test and you can probably do pretty well.

Hi there,
If you know BRS very well, you should be OK. At the last minute, going through Netter's or any text's is not going to be very useful. If you are truly last minute, then you should be in the review mode, hence BRS or something similiar.

Good luck!
njbmd 🙂

o gosh...such bad memories...🙁 but if u use BRS u should be ok.

It did not have nearly as much path as the physiology shelf- nothing that is not highlighted in every textbook plus the BRS. I actually thought the BRS was very representative of the types of questions you will be asked. Know the major relationships of what major organs touch each other, the tracts through the brain sinuses, how infections spread, how to read basic CT scans, major sports injuries. There were no questions on tiny nerves or any real minutiae like that. I hope this helps.

How is the clinical anatomy atlas different from the other Netter atlas? Did you use this one a lot?

Thanks.

It's more case based almost. Unlike netter's which is purely an atlas.

I've never heard of it before and I havent seen too many people mention it. Hmmm, I'll have to look into it.

Check into something like a Moore and Dalley. But, its an 800 pager. BRS and high yield will give you what you need if you already know the anatomy basics 😉 .

Moore's was great for upper limb. Beyond that, I think it's a waste especially with the clinical Netter's. But that's IMHO.
