why is that the answer and NOT B...

The picture is too small and I can't see if there are dotted line ot not! but the top view should not have any dotted lines since there are no dotted lines in the end view and front view! So if choice B has dotted lines, it illustrates changes in height in which it is not possible for this object!

if the rods go all the way through the big cylinder then the answer should be B, otherwise i think the answer is D

If there was imaginary lines, then the end and front view should've have those imaginary lines as well! but there are no dotted lines showing in them!
