With a defective androgen receptor, why is testosterone levels increased (pg 486 FA2011)?

It's probably a dumb question but google/wiki and I couldn't figure it out.

Edit: OOPS! nevermind, I was thinking of a defective LH receptor which would cause increased LH and decreased testerone. I think that's a sign I need more coffee 🙂
