Android app idea?

I'm thinking of developing an app that would record patients' triglyceride readings, as to keep track of the levels? What do you guys think? Do you think patient would benefit from such an app?

Probably not, you check that lab so infrequently that an app wouldn't be useful as say...FPG or daily weight for HF pt's

Agreed. Also, would this be for the patient's device or provider's? If provider, there are privacy/security concerns.

I've never looked into the apps myself, but I think diabetic pts would definitely benefit from an app that records BG levels and A1c, has a food diary and carb counter feature, and a section to enter Rx info.
