Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knew how feasible it would be to get involved with med student or undergrad education as an anesthesiologist.

The idea of being able to teach (perhaps physiology, pharm, a critical care clerkship, etc) in combination with a clinical practice sounds very attractive to me. Anyone know of any docs who do this? Would you have to hold an "academic" job position to do this type of stuff?

Any ideas or anecdotes would be appreciated...
thanks

There are tons of places where anesthesia people are very involved in med school education, and, in the case of U of Chicago, even undergrad in a limited capacity. Its nothing unique to anesthesia - you can do it with any specialty.
