Hi, I'm applying for anesthesia this coming year and want to do some 4th year electives in NYC. Does anyone have any insight into elective programs in NYC? Which places are good to go to? Do they up your chances of interviewing/getting accepted there in the future? Do you work closely with the attendings and would they write good letters of recommendation? How is the rest of the staff - nurses, etc?
