Just a quick question about anesthesia fellowships - do anesthesia subspecialists like neuroanethesia or cardiac anesthesia get paid more than general anesthesiologists? And is critical care medicine considered anesthesiology? If so, what exactly do they do?

Thanks.

Depends. Critical Care is a subspecialty of Anesthesiology. It is a one year fellowship. Other Specialties also can do critical care fellowships (Surgery, Pulmonary, Internal Medicine, etc.)

While a fellowship won't guarantee you higher income it does help to land that higher paying private practice job.

Most of colleagues think all i do is round

In general think of Critical care as a speciality where you try and keep people alive who are actively trying to die. Its internal medicine but with the addition of ventilators, vasoactive medicines, and all kinds of machines that go beep.
