Anyway, this is an open declaration to my fellow forum members:

I've (essentially) accomplished what I wanted over the antecedent weeks. Namely, I just wanted to expose a certain poster for who he really was. I knew it. I was sick of the sanctomonious, holier-than-thou, self-important b.s. flowing out of him. And, I think I proved my point. I'm going to stop now, lest we read about some anesthesiologist in Florida walking into a hospital and opening fire. :laugh:

This isn't a truce. This isn't to be construed as a concession. Mind you. This is an open declaration that I've proved my point. If I'm attacked, I will defend. But, I will no longer initiate the attack. There's no longer a reason. I've accomplished what I wanted to.

In the end, don't be a prick. That's all I'm asking. If you come here and act all uppity like this forum "needs" you and everyone under their breath thinks you're acting like it, chances are I'm the one who's going to call you out. If, in doing that, you think I too am being a prick in the process, that's when I'll remind you I don't care what you think - especially when I know what I'm trying to accomplish. This forum doesn't need any one, single poster to survive. That includes me. I know that. Some of you... I think you're mistaken in your own self-belief that it does. Recognize that, actually, you need it - not vice versa.

So, for those of you accusing me of being self-indulgent, I offer you following, as a reminder: a great, funny, self-involved, controversial, volatile, full-of-life, and awesome dude who used to regularly post here... which I hope proves my point... I found that being a mod actually limited my ability to deal with slimy people the way I wanted and It also required that I tolerate some creatures more than I thought was healthy for me.
So, there, now you know everything!

ok seriously the violation of TOS is egregious at this point.
