When do interviews for anesthesia programs start sending invites? And when is it best to go, early November or later like end of December?
My interviews seemed to have come in two waves. I got a bunch starting the day after I submitted my ERAS followed by a relatively quiet period. The second wave came after my Dean's Letter was submitted. As far as when to go, I personally feel that it did not matter much to me, but I'm sure others have their own opinions. I think I did schedule some of the less competetive programs first as back-ups and warm-ups though.

I had submitted my appilication on the first day.
I looked at the old interview thread (from last year) and it seems like the first place to offer interviews was SLU (9/9 was the first date I saw). UAB sent stuff via snail mail around 9/15, and emory called ppl about 9/10ish. I didnt apply to SLU, but I'm starting to think about it just so I can possibly get a invite from someone. Back to usmleworld and checking my email every 10 secs.
BID acknowledged my existence today with about 5 copies of the same email (followed by an apology email for the error) saying they fill their invites on a rolling basis after MSPE's are released and the app has to be complete yadda yadda yadda
so that makes JHU and BID both schools that wait until MSPEs to offer invites
