Hey ..

I am an Anesthesia resident from Egypt , and i was wondering how to get some sort of clinical training courses in Anesthesia or even better an Anesthesia residency in Europe .

Degree : - MBBCh (Bachelor Of Medicine and Surgery) - Zagazig University - Egypt - Nov. 2010

- Completed my Internship Year in Zagazig University Hospital ,( Dec 2010 : Dec 2011 )

- Had my medical license to work in Egypt in March 2012 .

Current status : Junior Anesthesiology Resident .

Languages spoken : Arabic ( native ) .
English ( fluent , High TOEFL score ) .

My guess is that you would have to go through the Match like any other IMG.

AFAIK, prior experience will help you with interviewing for residency programs, but you still have to complete a full residency to practice in the US. You'll also need to make sure that where you apply will work with H or J visas.

But if you are interested in working int he UK, I can't help you.

i want to go to western europe in general .. there's no specific country

how about fellowship programs.. is it the same requirements ??

I am relatively sure that if you do not speak the local language (Italian in Italy, French in France, Spanish + local language in Spain, German in Germany) you will not be able to practice medicine in Western Europe. So you should probably focus your search on the UK.
