Anesthesia to PMR?

Hi. I'm a current anesthesia resident with some serious second thoughts about my specialty choice. Rather than listing all my reasons here, I'm hoping to find someone who's made this specialty switch in either direction so I can get some questions answered. Anyone out there?

I have no experience with switching residencies but I'll tell you there is very little correlation to how things are in residency to actual practice. So consider that heavily before you switch. PM&R is not a panacea of all athletes and sports med or interventional spine as some may think.

Care to share to list your reasons for wanting to switch? I am considering both fields as a medical student and would really help to gain some insight
