anesthesiology rotation

Hi, I was wondering if any of you have done an anesthesiology or related type of rotation. I picked it because it sounded really different and interesting and it's being offered at my school for the first time, but for some reason, I've recently been freaking out at the thought of it and might consider switching to another rotation. Does anybody have insight on what a student on rotation would do in that setting?
