I would like to encourage those who use SDN on a regular basis to become Angels or Donors. As you may already know, SDN is non-profit, and site operations and server space are paid for by these types of user donations. The more Angels and Donors we have, the better job we can do at expanding smoothly as the site grows.

Here are the perks of becoming a Donor/Angel
- PM inbox capacity increases to 250 messages
- maximum avatar size increases to 150x150 pixels
- increased upload quota
- user picture option enabled in profile
- ability to close your own threads
- Angels do not view the banner or text based advertisements

If you all want to we can try and be leaders in the Angel/Donor thing by making a list of who here is an Angel/Donor and challenging the other forums to come up with a bigger list. I think it would be cool because it would encourage people to "match" our money, and provide our forum with a bit more visibility on SDN.

If any of you have over 100 posts, you really should donate. This is a free service and it does cost money to keep the site going. If any of you have found this forum of service to yourself, you should help keep our website afloat. This is not a guilt trip, but more of a call to do the right thing. After all, if there was no SDN, I would have to be a prick in real life instead of SDN life!
