Angle Ranking on the Real DAT

Does anyone know if it's allowable to hold your paper up to the screen and trace the angles on the real DAT or is this considered cheating?

I asked if I could hold my pencil tip up to the screen (he gave me this really crazy look) but he let me. He just told me I couldn't touch the screen.

I was told the same thing "cant touch the screen" but I pull the monitor close to me and hold my thumbs up so that I am only looking at the first 1/4 or 1/2 of the two angles and I find that really helps.

they can let you do that but the paper that they give is too dark so tracing is impossible. i don't know much about the changes that they made. i heard that they give laminated sheets or a board to use instead paper and pencil.

I think angle ranking problem from DAT should be erased.

PAT section is supposed to test our ability to think logically when we become dentists but angle ranking problem makes us to GUESS. That's like saying we have to guess when we treat our patients.

im sorry if this counts as cheating. but i was all over that monitor piece. paper, fingers, pencils, my id card, you name it, i probably put it up on the monitor to help me out. the proctor didnt even say anything when i did that either. she was really cool about it.

angle ranking was alot harder on the real dat than topscore. i actually spent more time on the angle ranking than any other parts. every other part i finished in 8 minutes.....but angle ranking...bleh
