so i have been doing alright with these, never seem to get above 12, but yesterday i used the 2500 angle option, and the angles were much bigger than the sample tests, and much easier..is this how they are on the real thing? i use a laptop also, so not sure if using cdp on a desktop would make a difference?

hmm...I also was doing around 12-13 on the CDP tests, then I started taking the test from "angle ranking-angle ranking" becuase when I selected "angle ranking-random tests" it gave me just 15 questions from their complete DAT random tests, which were not bad. However i found the questions from "Angle ranking-Angle ranking" more challenging than the regular tests. Some were imposible to guess! I tried hill method, labtop method, used my pen, nothing was working. I almost cracked my neck from twisting and turning my head so I can see what a heck is going on, but I ended up with a 9/15 in overtime!:scared:
Which set of tests were you using?

so you were using the 2500 angles?
for some reason, they appear much bigger than the 10 sample tests..i am getting almost all of them right now..for these it seems the smallest difference is 4 degrees..are these the ones you did?
i guess it helps to practice on angles that appear smaller on the screen than the real thing

no angles on the eral thing are small just like on the regular CDP tests. I think the extra large size it to help u get used to judging angles.

Yeas the 2500 anles. They are bigger in size than the 10 tests as you mentioned, but their differences are really hard to see for me. I don't know why?:scared:Which method do you use for these?

the first thing i do is to look at the answer choices to see if i can eliminate 2, im sure you do this already.
then basically i try to focus on the same small part of each angle..also for comparing two angles i try to imagine if one can fit into the other..if it can than it is smaller than the one it fits into
one other thing..if two angles have one side that is parallel, then you can sort of compare the slope of the other side to tell which is smaller..sorry if this makes no sense!!

how do you eliminate the two right off the bat? you mean you give the angles a quick glance first no?

i think most ppl do this and know it already, but in case you dont 1st look at all the answer choices and usually there are two pairs that have the same choice for the smallest angle..so you could then eliminate 2 of 4 answer choices by deciding on the smallest angle. when you cant do this, usually you can still focus on two angles in order to eliminate the choices down to 2

Thanks glk2101, I will try your method today. I hope I'll do better. I hate angle ranking!😱
