Anki Advice for Flashcards

Does anyone have any advice for me on what they put on flashcards from someone who did well? I just did a practice problem not from AAMC but couldn't distinguish radiation versus conduction and convection because I used the definition and said what the term was. Is there a better approach for flashcards? What should I be focusing on and to get the best bang for my buck? Thanks!
