Finished step 1 and had been using a self-made FA and pathoma and UW deck for the past year.Together, they contained around 20K cards and I only have to do like 200-300 a day at this point which takes 30 min-1 hr.

My question: I have heard that shelf exams are 85% based on step 1/first 2 years knowledge base. I have also heard that with a strong knowledge base, UW for the shelves is sufficient. So, would it be a good plan for me to keep up the Step 1 cards alongside the UW for the shelves? My goal would be to do well enough on the shelves to honor the rotations. Also, if you do think I should keep up the Step 1 cards, which FA sections are no longer needed? (i.e. biochem?)

Keep doing them, with time the number of cards you have to so every day will decrease and it will be more manageable
