Is it just me, or does anyone else get annoyed when someone posts some ridiculous question that could be answered in .04 seconds or less on ANY search engine. I just read a post and the question said:

Where is Howard?

Um, ok. If we can get by the fact that this person may not have heard of one of the most prestigious historically black colleges in the world, then thats ok. But then HOW HARD IS IT TO TYPE IN THE WORDS HOWARD UNIVERSITY TO ANY SEARCH ENGINE AND THEN GO TO THEIR WEBSITE AND FIND OUT ITS IN WASHINGTON DC? A bunch of really good questions get asked everyday on SDN, but a bunch of absurd ones get asked as well. I think any questions that can be answered by just a 10 second examination of a schools website should be banned from SDN.

Author's note: if you think the edge to this post is because I haven't been accepted anywhere, then you'd be right.

where is texas?

who is Howard?

man. last i knew, a "google" (or however you want to spell it) was a 1 with a million zeroes behind it.
😕

GoodMonkey-

I actually think a google is a 1 with 100 zeroes behind it.
Now for the bonus question:
What is a googleplex?

A tootsie roll to whoever knows that one.

Cheers

You people are dorks.

a googleplex is 10^[(10)^100]

I thought a Googleplex was where everyone at Google worked.

a googleplex is google ^ google

ooh....
googol info cookie du jour

knowledge is power, my friends. knowledge is power.

naw, a googolplex is the theatre with a googol of screens. imagine the possibilities!

I thought the Googleplex was the new movie theatre they just built....they got a lotta screens! 😛

You are correct, tbw, but did you also know that Voltage was Current times Resistance?

In all fairness to Texasguy41, I think he has a point. I agree with you. I have to admit though, all of the other posts were pretty funny. Thanks for the laughs all you clever folks.

Googleplex = 1 with 200 zeros

On a somewhat related (ok unrelated) note:

If knowledge is power and power corrupts. Does knowledge corrupt?
