I know that there are so many posts freaking out about a bad semester on this website; however everyone's situation is a bit different, so i just wanted to ask for your opinion on my case.
I foolishly overestimated my ability and decided to take Orgo 1, Gen bio 2, physics for engineering 1 at the same time. While I managed to have A's throughout the whole time the finals crushed me and I ended up getting A- from physics, B+ from orgo 1, and a B- from bio. I got a little too pompous. I go to a top 20 university.
I know that I am going to do much better next semester when I take orgo 2 and biochem next semester because the courseload is much lighter, but I am freaking out because this is how I ended my sophomore year. As I plan to apply at the end of my junior year, I only have a semester left to show the upward trend.
I've had 3.8ish gpa thus far but I don't know how this would change it.
What do you think about this... am I just worrying too much?
