Hi guys,
I have room for a science course + lab in my future schedule plannining. I can't decide if I want to take Microbiology + Microbiology lab, or Cell biology + human physiology lab. Biochemistry, genetics, human physiology, human anatomy + human anatomy lab, and exercise physiology will be my other upper div. classes. Which option would help me the most in the future and why? Thanks.

Anyone care to explain their vote?

If I were you i'd take both...if you plan on taking only one however I think that the cell bio course would correlate better with the courses that you plan on taking in the future. Cell biology I find is similar to human physiology in certain aspects; and genetics, heck there is even a nice intro to biochemistry in there. I find microbiology a course that is about..... MICROBES, yes you will find a greater amount of biochemistry (metabolic pathways) from this course, but in the long run (for me anyway) I found that cell biology correlates more with your other courses as it covers a larger range of topics (My course was actually Molecular & Cell biology, so maybe yours might differ). The reason I would take both if I were you is because in many dental schools, you will have to take Microbiology and Biochemistry, thereby giving you a slight advantage. The more the better!! OH, and do take an english course (i have yet to do that..... can you tell HAHA)..
